It was my birthday yesterday, not that I usually do anything special for my birthday.
Had planned on a quiet day with my partner and maybe a nice romantic dinner but as is often the case nothing went as planned. The weather was just plain nasty yesterday so we stayed home not wanting to deal with driving on rain slicked roads. Instead of a nice quiet day and a romantic dinner we got on each other's nerves and spent a good part of yesterday upset with each other. Not one of my better birthdays but at least today all is well again between us.
Didn't get much sleep last night so spent today being a zombie woman and never even got dressed beyond a big T-shirt. Christine came home from work with a sore throat and seems to be coming down with a head cold.
Today the weather is once again just plain nasty so we spent the afternoon working and watching movies.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better and we don't both wake up sick as dogs with colds.
