Had some friends over Friday night for the final episode of Battlestar Galactica so didn't get to sleep until late.
I was pleasantly surprised by the ending and thought it was excellent except the whole leaving technology behind was a bit hard to accept. I wonder how they are doing in a few months with no booze, toilet paper, antibiotics, running water, or any of the things we crave after a couple of days camping. I sure hope that they at least brought along some space axes or something to cut down some trees and make some shelter.
I wonder if there we be a spinoff of the Cylons coming to visit modern earth to say hi to the artificial life that we will probably create in the coming years?
Went out clubbing last night for the first time in a very long time. Had a decent time but being as I'm a non drinker non smoker it's a bit hard dealing with all the smoking drunks. Would probably have stayed out longer but the club I was in wouldn't let you back in unless you paid ten bucks a piece again and we needed some quiet smoke free time outside of the club so we just went home.
Today we met up with a group of friends over at PrideFest in the park up the street. Had a pretty good time and bumped into a few people that I haven't seen in years.
