Now that our warm weather has returned I'm back playing on the water at least once a week. Had a great time kayaking the other day.

We got up before sunrise today and went out in our friend's boat. The seas were too rough for snorkeling so instead we spent most of the day hopping waves.

I think I've managed to make just about ever part of my body hurt but I had a fantastic time doing it.

It was kind of odd being asked if I'm American and then being asked to prove it. I had to go get a new social security card today using my passport before I sent it off to be renewed since our government has decided that we all need a social security card to renew our driver's license to protect us against terrorism and I seem to have lost my card many years ago. Even the lady that took my application for a duplicate social security card thought it was odd that we now need a social security card, that doesn't even have your picture on it, as required ID to renew your driver's license.

I've finally made it out of bed know that we our back from our mini Key Largo vacation.

We had a great time of snorkeling, kayaking and bike riding but after a few days we both started missing our cats and macaws, our big screen TV and our bed.

The cottage, more like a bungalow duplex, was very nice. I was expecting something right on the beach and it turned out to be cottages in the jungle within 500 feet from the water but staying in a jungle setting was also very nice.

Christy didn't care all that much for where we stayed but personally I think it had a real Keys charm about it.

We are already looking to go down again and snorkel Molasses reef next and finding a place to stay just south of Key Largo next time.

Going to try to go through the pics and movies that we took and probably post a few in the next day or so.
